Just a general question while I'm thinking about it: has anyone heard about The Melon heads legends in Ohio, Connecticut, or Michigan ? I've always been curious about it.

I'm typing this roughly 4-5 years after the incident but hopefully the point comes across. I've lived in the small city of Leavenworth, KS for my entire life and never saw this before or after this time. I was at my local library one night and didn't have a car at the time so I was waiting for my dad to pick me up after the library had closed at 9 that night. I don't know why, but I looked up and I cannot make this up, I saw three white lights in the shape of an equilateral triangle. At first I thought it might have been a helicopter, but when I noticed there was no sound of the blades, I thought it might have been a plane. That too was crossed off when I heard no screaming of jet engines and this was too low to be a plane. Leavenworth has a military base on the north end of it which has a small airport but again, where was the noise? The distance between each light from where I was looked about 2 inches, but if this thing was on ground level, it would have had to be massive. I pulled out my phone to take pictures or even a video but this thing didn't show up on my screen. I told my dad about it and he chalked it up to a military exercise but I highly doubt that even to this day. This triangle was also moving slowly(?) to me but had to be moving extremely quickly. To this day I'm convinced that it was a UFO.
