484/485 | The Problem With Reality: The Mandela Effect

In Episode 17, I took my initial plunge into the Mandela Effect. I found it interesting, but many of the phenomena that people reported as proof that reality had changed, seemed easily explainable. However, over the years, I've been presented with more and more cases that have left me puzzled, and without an easy explanation. Then, a couple of weeks ago, I was watching YouTube videos, and came across several that were mentioning the Mandela Effect, and how people were noticing some "flip flopping" with a few of the cases. Many of the people were also discussing CERN, and the shutdown of the Large Hadron Collider, which took place on June 29, 2026, after completing its third physics run.

The very next day, I received an email from an anonymous listener that wanted to share their astonishing experiences with the Mandela Effect, and asked me if I would like to share it on the podcast. The strangest part about this, is that they had no idea that I had posted a short update on my Patreon page the night before, so when I received their email, I figured that this was more than just a coincidence. What followed, was the most fascinating series of events with this phenomenon that I have ever heard, and it changed my perspective on the subject forever.

I have included both parts of the episode below.

In Part 2, Anonymous talks about "The Missing Chapter", and at the end of that experience they mention an email between them and the author that only serves to deepen the mystery of the missing chapter.
